Hi Everyone, Wow have I got the goodies for your today!!!  I didn't break them up like I normally do with coupons, then sweeps, then freebies etc... Nah, I just threw them altogether today.  Their all awesome and worth checking out.  I just can't wait for the ones that come in the mail to hurry up and get here lol.  Oh! while scouring around for goodies I came across an awesome Pumpkin Stew recipe that looks soooo good so I wanted to share with you.  It's at the very bottom.  I found it on the Taste of home website.                                     Pumpkin Stew Recipe 
                                  ~From Taste of Home~

                                         Prep: 2-1/2 hours Bake: 2 hours Yield: 8-10 Servings

Ingredients 
2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 tablespoons canola oil, divided
1 cup water
3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
4 medium carrots, sliced
1 large green pepper, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 pumpkin (10 to 12 pounds)

Directions 
In a Dutch oven, brown meat in 2 tablespoons oil.
Add water, potatoes, carrots, green pepper, garlic, onion, salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Stir in bouillon and tomatoes.

Wash pumpkin; cut to 6 to 8 in. circle around top stem.
 Remove top and set aside; discard seeds and loosen fibers from inside.
Place pumpkin in a shallow sturdy baking pan.

Spoon stew into pumpkin and replace top.
Brush outside of pumpkin with remaining oil.
 Bake at 325° for 2 hours or just until the pumpkin is tender (do not overbake).

Serve stew from pumpkin, scooping out a little pumpkin with each serving.

Yield: 8-10 servings.
Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 cup) equals 324 calories, 11 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 57 mg cholesterol, 1,070 mg sodium, 37 g carbohydrate, 4 g fiber, 23 g protein.

This isn't a coupon but it's a nice freebie that  I came across.  It's a Free Puppy Care eBook from Purina. I downloaded mine since I have new baby girl Sophie that my parents gave me for my birthday.  She's about 8 weeks now and cute as a little button.  Here she is.... I know... Awwwwww hee hee. Anyway this eBook is soooo full of info no matter what age is your puppy or doggie is.  And it's safe to download no bugs I promise!

Coupons & My Saturday Kroger trip...

Okay so I told you yesterday I had some coupons that were expiring soon, I took them to Kroger and this is how it went...

I had a coupon or an ecoupon that I uploaded from the Kroger website to my Kroger card. My total before coupons was $19.95 and my total after coupons was $2.08 pretty good I'd say. Here's a little heads up for you guys, in todays coupon inserts in your paper there is a .50 coupon for Colgate. Kroger still has the Colgate on sale 10/$10 so clip your coupons and go get some freebies. Just some things you may not know if you're new to couponing... Kroger will let you use 2 coupons for 2 like items {meaning 2 tubes of paste} and you do not HAVE to buy 10 to get it for $1 each. Hope that helps some of you out. Now lets get onto some more coupons and a couple of freebies I've found for you that I can't wait to share!!

Yesterday I created a Facebook Group it's a little different than the Facebook Page. The page is just where I post finds that I've posted on this blog.  The group however is an open group where you can actually chat with myself or other members.  This blog and the Facebook PAGE are open to absolutely anybody from anywhere but I would really like to keep the Group limited to only those who actually do live in the Michiana area because our ultimate goal with the group is to get to know couponers and maybe set up actual Coupon Swaps here in our area.  So I hope you'll take time to check that out and join us.  Keep in mind it was just started yesterday so it is at the moment a very tiny group.  I'd love to see it grow so please tell your friends.

Saturday Morning Coupons

Good Morning! The end of the month is upon us once again, so that means our July
coupons will be expiring. With that in mind I got my coupon binder out last night and
sat down with the latest Kroger ad to see if I had anything worth using before it expires. 
Well yes I do! lol I found some really good deals.  I plan to stop by Kroger after
work today to see if I can get the deals I have in mind. Kroger has their 10 for $10
sale going on right now and they double coupons up to $1 so that's going to work in
my favor.  I will post the deals I was able to take advantage of either later today or
tomorrow for sure and if you've had a great shopping trip please share it with us

I went to a coupon class last night and the instructor said to contact companies for coupons.  I've heard this before and have done it myself but I haven't done it recently so I thought I would contact a couple of companies each day and see how lucky I get.  Today I have contacted 4 companies {so far}. Basically you just shoot them an email telling them how much you enjoy their product and ask if there are available coupons or if you have had a bad experience with a company let them know that as well and they may offer to replace the product free or refund your money.  So lets keep our fingers crossed and see what the mailman brings us from our hard work :)
